Ongoing & Future Projects

Dammam Airports has already begun implementing a many projects. This
includes Infrastructure Modernization and undertakings such as
improving the airport’s runways, adding new passenger halls, and
introducing a new passenger baggage management system. The
ultimate goal of these efforts are to significantly increase KFIA's
capacity and scale the underlying infrastructure and operational
support needed in the next stage of the airport’s growth.

In addition, efforts to upgrade or modernize various aspects of
airport operations are designed to attract more airlines, add more
routes, and make King Fahd International airport, Al Ahsa
International airport and Al Qaisumah airport the ‘airport of
choice’ for all passengers by improving and enhancing the overall
travel experience.
