The First of Its Kind in the Kingdom
Inaugurated on 17 August 2015 at King Fahd International Airport, under the auspices and presence of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province, KFIA’s Cargo Village now plays a vital role as a regional hub for global companies seeking to do business in the region
The village aspires to be one of the important economic engines in cargo and logistics industries in the Kingdom by providing services of the highest standards to its partners. Bonded Zone
Operated by the Eastern Gate Logistics Company on 100,000 sqm of land, the import and re-export zone is a critical component of the Cargo Village, and enables investors to store and re-export air, inland and sea cargo shipments without paying duties. In addition, customers may also be able to partially aggregate and clear goods from within the zone.
