    AboutDammam Airports

    According to Saudi Vision 2030 and as part of the National Transformation Program, Dammam Airports was established in Dammam on July 1, 2017, to be an integral part of the future vision to enhance the airport industry. The company aims to operate and develop airport facilities, maintain them, improve infrastructure, manage commercial and investment relations, operate air cargo facilities, and enhance operational capabilities and efficiency of airports to keep up with the evolution of the aviation industry.

    KING FAHD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
    On July 1, 2017, the operation and management of King Fahd International Airport were entrusted to Dammam Airports, with a capacity of 12,600,000 passengers annually.

    AL-AHSA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
    On May 1, 2021, the operation and management of Al-Ahsa International Airport were assigned to Dammam Airports. Initially with a capacity of 400,000 passengers annually, the company developed and expanded the airport to increase its capacity to 1,000,000 passengers annually by April 2024 to meet the objectives of the national aviation strategy.

    AL-QAISUMAH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
    On May 1, 2021, the operation and management of Al-Qaisumah International Airport were assigned to Dammam Airports with a capacity of 190,000 passengers annually. The company developed and expanded the airport to increase its capacity to 700,000 passengers annually and convert it into an international airport by October 2022 to align with the national aviation strategy.

    We kicked off Dammam Airports operations on July 1, 2017 as part of a broader initiative to corporatize Saudi Arabia’s airports.
    Since that time, we have been on a mission to achieve some very ambitious goals. We have identified a number of key
    projects that will serve as prerequisites or catalysts to success, namely: the refurbishment and improvement of KFIA’s
    infrastructure, enhancing the travel experience by upgrading the level of services on offer, and most importantly, the hiring
    and training of a vibrant, skilled, and highly-productive workforce comprised of the Saudi Nationals who will be
    empowered to lead the airport industry into the future.

    On behalf of all my colleagues at Dammam Airports, I would like to emphasize our utmost commitment to making every effort
    towards achieving the goals set out in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. In order to achieve this aim, we must join hands with our
    strategic partners in the government and private sectors in the implementation of our strategic and development plans.

    Dammam Airports is proud of its national team spirit, and we aspire to become tomorrow’s leaders of the air transport
    industry, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness The Crown Prince.
